Windows Phone 7 is launching this fall, I really think Microsoft is on the right track, because while I love messing with my jail broken iPhone, at the same time I don’t want my smartphone to be a mobile computer which is what I feel Android offers. WP7 seems to land smack in the middle of Apple’s concept of an appliance device and the Android model of a mobile computer that I can do anything with which lacks the user experience of an appliance like an iPhone. I also happen to think that Windows Phone 7’s user interface looks outstanding and takes the crown from Apple in that department, overall I’m really excited for version 1 this fall.
